ENGINE BUIDER MAGAZINE—Earlier this week, Brett LaSala posted that he would be moving on from his Snot Rocket 2.0 Mustang, a car that he had dominated with in small tire drag-and-drive competition in recent years. The reason for trying to find the Mustang a new home is a new build that Brett is starting, of course being dubbed Snot Rocket 3.0, which Brett says will have a chassis capable of breaking into the 5-second barrier in drag and drive.
“My goal is to break into the 5-second barrier on a drag and drive,” LaSala posted. “This current chassis, although perfect working and dialed in, is not legal to a 5.99 or faster and doing so would require redoing it completely.”
